Ibera Marshlands

Covering an area three times the size of the Everglades, the Iberá Provincial Park is a relatively “new” birding destination located in the heart of the province of Corrientes (Northeast Argentina), encompassing such a diversity of habitats as permanent subtropical wetlands, grasslands, palm groves, forests, savannahs and ñandubay woods, providing the habitat for more than 330 bird species. Several comfortable lodges and cattle ranches provide excellent accommodation and superb meals for exploring this fascinating region.
