Misiones's or Atlantic Rainforest

In Argentina covers the province of Misiones and the northeastern tip of Corrientes, following the riversides of the Parana and Uruguay rivers. The climate is subtropical, warm and humid, with rains throughout the year. These are dense forests, mixed and entangled, with well defined arboreal and herbaceous levels, including the crowns of gigantic emerging trees. This Interior Atlantic Rainforest has the greatest number of endemic or exclusive species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. The World renowned Iguazú National Park is undoubtedly one of the most accessible place for birding, together with several provincial parks such as Urugua-í, Salto Encantado, Cruce Caballero and many private preserves.
