Tour description

Los Glaciares National Park in southern Patagonia, is one of the best places for birding due to the diversity and abundance of bird life in habitats such as austral beech forests, Patagonian steppes and wetlands, giving us the chance to spot species as the black-chested buzzard-eagle, Andean condors, Austral pygmy owls, Magellanic woodpeckers, least seedsnipes, upland and ashy-headed geese, Magellanic plovers, the white-crested elaenias, and Chilean flamingos.

We recommend you to combine this fascinating region with Tierra del Fuego, where we will add many marine and mountain species such as the kelp geese, the imperial and rock cormorant, the Magellanic diving-petrel, the black-browed albatross, the dolphin gull, ochre-naped ground-tyrant, Magellanic and gentoo penguins, white-bridled finch and many others.
