Iguazu National Park

The Iguassu National Park, in the most north-eastern corner of Argentina, is an area of wide biodiversity that includes an important part of the Misiones jungle (also known as Atlantic rainforest in Brazil). This is the richest biological environment in Argentina, surrounding the stunning Iguazu falls, considered the world’s most spectacular waterfall.

In this photo tour we invite you to travel to Iguassu to be amazed by the impressive series of falls, approachable in both Argentina’s and Brazilian sides by convenient paths, and boardwalks, navigate in the Iguazu River and photograph the abundant wildlife in the National Park, at Urugua-í Provincial Park and other nearby areas.

Coatis, Brown capuchin monkeys, Tegu lizards, Broad-nosed caimans, Toco toucan, Scaly, headed parrots, Surucua trogons, Red-ruffed fruitcrows, about 12 species of hummingbirds, colourful tanagers, Great dusky-swifts Brazilian tapir, and tropical butterflies are part of the fantastic diversity of photogenic species of wildlife of this protected area.

During our photo tour we will also visit a raptor rehabilitation park and a private garden in Puerto Iguazú, where we can photograph new interesting species of birds.
