Tour description
Santiago, Chile´s capital, can be the gate to the wine country, cellars and vineyards of the central valleys, where you can taste the famous and World renowned Chilean wines and observe the whole production process.
The Central Andes around Santiago also offer interesting locations for nature photography, as Yerba Loca Reserve, Farellones and Las Animas waterfalls, where it is possible to photograph Andean condors, black-chested buzzard-eagles, torrent ducks, giant hummingbirds and many other species.
On the Pacific coast we will find Valparaíso (World Heritage Site) and numerous colorful fishermen´s villages. On several islands and along the littoral there are big colonies of South American sealions, Humboldt´s penguins and other species, as well as in Los Molles, Los Vilos and Cachagua Island, where we can also spot the rare South American sea otter and several species of dolphins.
