Tour description

Combining Valdés Peninsula & Los Glaciares National Park, in Argentina, and Torres del Paine National Park, in Chile

Patagonia is a region that has countless special corners with a wide variety of fauna, well preserved national parks and breathtaking landscapes, not only on the South Atlantic coast but also on the steppes and at the Southern Andes.

Our Patagonia Photo Safari is a nature and wildlife photography-oriented tour, designed and led by local nature photographers. During this photo-trip we will visit the Valdes Peninsula and Punta Tombo, with its colonies of South American sea lions, southern elephant seals, Magallanic penguins, several species of cormorants, terns and gulls, plus the terrestrial wildlife inhabiting the bushy steppes such as the guanacos (wild relatives of the llamas), the lesser rheas and Patagonian armadillos, without forgetting the southern right whales and Commerson's dolphins, among many other species.

Our next destination will be the spectacular Los Glaciares National Park, with its extensive ice fields, massive glaciers, granite peaks, snow-capped mountains, thick forests and varied fauna, such as the Austral parakeets, Andean condors, Patagonian woodpeckers, Chilean flamingos and many more species. The special end of the trip will be Torres del Paine National Park, in Chile, with its fantastic peaks, pristine lakes and abundant wildlife.

A trip that no nature photographer should miss!
